Safa OUERGHI

Safa OUERGHI serves as a Lecturer at ESTACA Paris-Saclay within the ESTACA Lab department under the S2ET pole, specializing in artificial intelligence applications for autonomous driving and smart mobility since August 2025.

Her academic background includes:

• PhD in Information and Communication Technologies from Sup'Com (Tunis), 2018 (completed in collaboration with IRSEEM–ESIGELEC, Rouen)

Her research concentrates on critical autonomous vehicle technologies, with primary focus on localization systems, sensor data fusion methodologies, and decision-making frameworks for perception systems. She extends this work into semantic and cooperative mapping techniques essential for next-generation mobility solutions, applying AI to solve complex challenges in vehicle perception and navigation.

OUERGHI actively contributes to industry collaboration through projects including SCOPES and the Mobilex challenge, where she participates in both technical assembly and scientific development phases of autonomous vehicle research initiatives.
