Dr. Saed Amer serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Khalifa University, where he leads research in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineering and Human Factors integration within Industry 4.0 frameworks.

- Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Tennessee State University (2007)
Research Focus: Dr. Amer specializes in empirical HSE monitoring systems using machine vision for Safety 4.0 applications, with pioneering work in seat comfort analysis through CAD/Finite Element modeling and motion capture validation. His research extends to Logistics 4.0 challenges in e-commerce, sustainability engineering education, autonomous UXO remediation, renewable energy simulation, and fire safety analysis of aluminum composite panels in high-rise construction. He actively bridges human factors with digital transformation in industrial systems.
Academic Leadership: Dr. Amer mentors five Master's students in Engineering Systems and Management while teaching core courses including Ergonomics and Human Factors Engineering (CHEM660), Industrial Hygiene Engineering (WENV602), and QHSE Program Management (SCIN610), establishing himself as a key contributor to engineering safety education and Industry 4.0 integration.
