Sadia Malik is Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Economics at York University. She holds a PhD in Economics from Kansas State University.
Her research interests are in development economics and health economics, with focus on economic processes behind observed data. She coordinates large introductory economics courses and has developed teaching innovations to improve student success.
Prior to her academic appointment, she directed research at Mahbub ul Haq Human Development Centre and received grants from international development organizations including the World Bank and ILO.
