Sachin Sule

Sachin S. Sule, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University. With over 15 years of experience in clinical education and residency administration, he previously served as Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center from 2011 to 2017.

Dr. Sule is a general internist whose research focuses on educational innovation, patient safety, and cardiovascular research. His work includes quality improvement projects, clinical studies on syncope, cardiovascular outcomes in renal disease, and collaborations in hepatology and cardiology.

His recent publications span cardiology and internal medicine journals, emphasizing STEMI management, cardiac arrest disparities, and drug safety in hepatology. He has received multiple awards, including the Excellence in Teaching (New York Medical College) and the 2015 ACG Presidential Poster Award.

Dr. Sule has mentored numerous residents and fellows and led initiatives in electronic sign-out systems to reduce handoff errors. His current role at FAU integrates administrative leadership with clinical teaching and research collaboration.
