Sachin Modi is a Professor of Global Supply Chain Management at the Mike Illitch School of Business, Wayne State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management & Decision Sciences from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, India.
Research interests span across Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Service Failure Analysis, and Resource Management. His work explores the intersection of operational efficiency with financial performance and risk mitigation strategies in complex supply chain networks.
