معرفی
Sachiko Amari is a Research Professor of Physics at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research explores the formation and early history of the solar system through analysis of presolar grains in meteorites using secondary ion mass spectrometry. She investigates stellar nucleosynthesis, Galactic chemical evolution, and the origin of solar system volatiles.
Education includes:
- PhD, Kobe University
- ME, Waseda University, Japan
- BE, Waseda University, Japan
Research focuses on isotopic analysis of stardust grains to understand stellar processes and early solar system conditions. Current work examines noble gas trapping mechanisms in primitive meteorites to reconstruct early solar system environments. She is affiliated with the Laboratory for Space Sciences and has contributed to NASA-related research initiatives.
