Sabrina Minuzzi

Sabrina Minuzzi is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellow in Modern History at Ca' Foscari University of Venice and Brown University. Her interdisciplinary project MAT-MED in Transit examines the circulation of healing plants and medical knowledge through book objects.

• Graduated in Literature from Ca' Foscari University
• PhD in Historical and Anthropological Sciences (Verona, 2012)
• 4-year postdoctoral fellowship at University of Oxford

Her research focuses on:

• Transformation of pharmaceutical practices
• Transition from manuscript to print in medical knowledge
• Role of book objects in knowledge dissemination
• Domestic medicine in early modern Europe
