Sabrina Lindhout serves as Lecturer of Dance in the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Baldwin Wallace University, teaching classical ballet and Erick Hawkins-release modern technique. She also instructs at multiple Cleveland-area dance studios and directs a pre-professional performance division for students aged 13+ at The Dance Centre in Rocky River, Ohio.
Her professional practice centers on community-integrated dance education, with expertise spanning ballet and modern dance techniques. Lindhout applies her skills in trauma-informed pedagogy through partnerships with educational institutions and healthcare organizations, emphasizing dance as a vehicle for youth expression and healing.
Formerly a company member of Cleveland's Inlet Dance Theatre, she delivered dance instruction across the Cleveland Municipal School District and collaborated with MetroHealth Hospitals' SAFE program to implement arts-based trauma recovery initiatives for high school students. She toured nationally with productions including Playhouse Square's adaptation of "What Do You Do With An Idea?" and served as North American talent for Australia's Polyglot Theatre.
Lindhout mentors emerging dancers through structured performance programs while building community capacity via partnerships with schools, hospitals, and cultural organizations to expand equitable access to dance education.
