Sabrina Auci

Sabrina Auci is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations within the School of Human Sciences and Cultural Heritage at the University of Palermo. She teaches Macroeconomics, Economics of Sport, and Environmental Economy courses across multiple departments including Political Science and International Relations, Sciences of Administration, Organization and Labor Consulting, and Conservation Biology. Her office is located in the DEMS Department where she holds office hours on Tuesdays from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

Professor Auci's research focuses on the intersection of environmental economics, climate change adaptation, and agricultural sustainability. Her work examines water conservation technologies, irrigation efficiency, and the economic impacts of climate variability on agricultural production. She has conducted extensive research on smart cities, innovation policy, and sustainable development frameworks across European contexts. Her methodological approach frequently employs econometric analysis, stochastic frontier analysis, and panel data techniques to evaluate technical efficiency and policy impacts.
