Sabina Pultz is an Associate Professor in the Department of People and Technology at Roskilde University. Her research focuses on the intersection of psychology and politics within unemployment governance, exploring how unemployed individuals are managed within welfare systems and how they self-govern. She holds external positions as a Censor at Censorkorps (since 2022) and was an External Lecturer at the University of Copenhagen (2018–2021).
Her work addresses contemporary issues such as precarious work conditions, young entrepreneurs’ challenges, and gender dynamics in labor markets. Key research areas include the affective economy of unemployment, dignity in welfare contexts, and the psychosocial impact of public employment policies.
Recent projects include the INDIGMA: Experiences of (in)dignity at the margins (2023–2026), examining dignity’s role in marginalization, and HECAT (2020–2023), focusing on digital tools for labor market decisions. She has received the Carlsberg Foundation Grant (2021) and actively participates in conferences and media discussions on unemployment dynamics.
