SOUFI Abderrhamane is a Researcher-Lecturer at CESI (LINEACT research group), specializing in civil engineering and numerical tools. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of La Rochelle (2009-2013), a Master's in Research from INSA Toulouse (2008-2009), and a Civil Engineering degree from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers (2003-2008). His primary research focuses on energy performance analysis of buildings, occupant behavior modeling, durability of construction materials, and eco-material innovation.
Key research projects include the DURATINET initiative (2010-2014) on durable transport infrastructure maintenance and the ARFVALORMAT project (2008-2009) on recycling industrial waste for sustainable binders. He has co-supervised research activities, including a master's project on cementitious material permeability.
His publications emphasize indoor climate modeling, corrosion protection in concrete repair, and material durability optimization. Technical contributions include the DURATINET guide and conference presentations at ICDS12 (2012) and IBPSA (2023).
