Associate Professor Semra Çevik is affiliated with Gaziantep University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Midwifery. She has been active in academia since 2007, progressing from Research Assistant to her current role as Associate Professor since 2021. Her work focuses on obstetrics, gynecology nursing, and technology integration in maternal care.

Her research explores virtual reality applications in labor, reflexology for pain relief, cesarean recovery, and women's health education. She has published extensively on these topics in journals like Health Care for Women International and Journal of Clinical Nursing, often collaborating with researchers such as Emine Karacan and Ece Kaplan.
Scientific awards include 2022 Best 50 Presentations (Turkish Society of Urogynecology) and the 2017 YÖK Scientific Publication Incentive Award. She has taught courses on maternal health, obstetrics, and gender issues in women's health at multiple academic levels.
