SEMA ÖZDEMİR

SEMA ÖZDEMİR serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance at Hizan Vocational School, Bitlis Eren University, a position she has held since 2013. She additionally holds dual roles as Board of Directors member and Academic Staff at the Women and Young Entrepreneurs Support Training, Application and Research Center.

Her research centers on Tax Law frameworks with specialized focus on the Turkish Tax System and Fiscal Incentive Mechanisms. Her doctoral thesis examines comparative fiscal policies for electric vehicle adoption, analyzing tax incentives across Turkey and international jurisdictions. This work bridges theoretical tax law principles with practical policy implementation in emerging sustainable transportation markets.

As an active contributor to the Women and Young Entrepreneurs Support Center, she develops academic frameworks for entrepreneurship training programs targeting underserved demographics, integrating her tax policy expertise into practical business development curricula.
