SELCUK YILMAZLAR

Prof. Dr. Selcuk Yilmazlar serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Brain and Nerve Surgery at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine. He has maintained continuous academic service at Uludag University since 1997, progressing through Assistant Professor (2000-2006), Associate Professor (2006-2011), and full Professor positions since 2011.

His academic foundation includes:

• Medical degree from Uludag University Faculty of Medicine (1980-1986)
• Neurosurgery specialization at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (1987-1993)
• Advanced training in skull base surgery/microneurosurgery at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences under Prof. Ossama Al-Mefthy and Prof. Gazi Yaşargil

Prof. Yilmazlar's research concentrates on complex neurosurgical interventions with emphasis on anatomical precision.
