Dr. S. Kate Devitt serves as Adjunct Professor at Queensland University of Technology's Centre for Robotics, while also holding leadership roles as Chief Scientist of Trusted Autonomous Systems Defence CRC (Brisbane) and CEO of the evidence-based social platform BetterBeliefs.
She earned her PhD in Philosophy from Rutgers University, with interdisciplinary expertise spanning the history and philosophy of science, epistemology, cognitive science, ethics, science communication, information science, technology regulation, psychology of statistics, decision support, and human factors.
