Róisín Donnelly is a tenured Assistant Professor at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management, affiliated with the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Tilburg University. Her research centers on the global strategies of multinational firms, focusing on location choices, knowledge creation and defense, and institutional environments. She actively contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through her work.

Her research explores how institutional distance, slack resources, and cultural frictions impact foreign market entry and knowledge integration. A recurring theme is the interplay between formal/informal institutions and firm capabilities in multinational settings.
