Ryszard Gryz

Dr. hab. prof. Ryszard Gryz serves as a Professor in the Department of 20th and 21st Century History within the Faculty of Humanities at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce (UJK). He maintains an office in Room 360 and can be reached at (41) 349-7317 for academic inquiries.

Professor Gryz specializes in contemporary Polish historical research with particular focus on several interconnected domains. His primary research interests include contemporary Polish history, memoirs and biography as historical sources, state-church relations during the Polish People's Republic era, religious architecture, and the activities of Bishop Czesław Kaczmarek of Kielce. He also investigates the work of the Dialogue Centre in Paris, which appears to be a significant organization in Polish historical context.

His scholarly contributions are documented through the University Library in Kielce's Bibliography of Publications. Professor Gryz maintains regular consultation hours for students, available on Tuesdays from 15:30-16:15 and Thursdays from 11:15-12:00, with additional office hours on Thursdays from 12:00-13:30.
