Ryan P. Adams

Ryan P. Adams is a Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University and Associate Chair of the Computer Science Department. He co-directs the AI² Initiative and is affiliated with the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics. His academic journey includes faculty positions at Harvard (2011-2016), Twitter, Google Brain, and currently Princeton since 2018. He founded the Laboratory for Intelligent Probabilistic Systems (LIPS).

Research Focus: Machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computational statistics with emphasis on probabilistic methods and approximate Bayesian inference.
