Ryan McKinney is a Professor of Theatre Arts and serves as Director of Theatre Arts at Kingsborough Community College, City University of New York (CUNY). He concurrently holds the position of Director of the Kingsborough Center for Teaching & Learning, overseeing faculty development initiatives in pedagogy and instructional technology across the institution.
His academic credentials include:

- MA in Theatre Studies from Hunter College, CUNY
- BA in Theatre & International Studies from Fairfield University
McKinney's scholarly focus centers on Theatre Arts with emphasis on Performance Studies, Musical Theatre, Play Analysis, and Acting techniques.
