Ryan K. Cole

Ryan K. Cole is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Bates College, where he leads the Bates Laser Sensing and Spectroscopy Lab. His research focuses on optical sensing technologies, including frequency comb spectroscopy and precision measurement techniques applied to atmospheric and solar dynamics. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Colby College.
