Ryan D. Enos is a Professor of Government at Harvard University, where he directs the Center for American Political Studies (CAPS), founded and leads the Harvard Digital Lab for the Social Sciences (DLABSS), and heads the Working Group on Political Psychology and Behavior (WoGPop). He holds affiliations with the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, Center for Geographic Analysis, Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Ph.D. Program in Government & Social Policy, Behavioral Insights Group, and Foundations of Human Behavior Initiative. Additionally, he serves as a Guest Professor of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen and is a member of the Academic Freedom Alliance.
His research focuses on the interdisciplinary nexus of politics, psychology, and geography, examining behavioral patterns and attitudes in the United States and globally. Primary interests include racial/ethnic dynamics in voter behavior, migration impacts on political systems, electoral processes, and quantitative analysis of public opinion. Methodologically, he employs experiments, surveys, and data science techniques to investigate spatial dimensions of political identity formation and intergroup conflict.
