Ryan Brizendine

Ryan Brizendine is a Lecturer in Religious Studies at the University of California, Davis. His research focuses on premodern Islamic intellectual history, including philosophy, theology, Sufism, and Islam in South Asia, with special emphasis on post-classical Islamic philosophy, the school of Ibn ʿArabi, and religious poetics in classical Arabic, Persian, and Hindi-Urdu traditions.
