Prof. Ruud Teunter is a Professor in Operations Management and Operations Research at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Economics and Business. He holds leadership roles in academic publishing, including editorial board memberships for the European Journal of Operational Research and Omega. His research focuses on inventory control, remanufacturing systems, condition-based maintenance, and supply chain optimization. He has held prestigious fellowships from the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and supervised 25 Master's and 5 PhD students.
