Ruud Koolen

Dr. Ruud Koolen is an Assistant Professor at Tilburg University's School of Humanities and Digital Sciences, Department of Communication and Cognition. His research focuses on cognitive science, psycholinguistics, and climate communication, exploring how visual perception influences language production. He teaches courses such as Information Design and Climate Communication.

Research interests include integrating verbal and visual aspects of communication, climate change narratives, and morality framing in environmental policy.
