Ruth Holloran serves as an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at George Fox University, joining the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2025 after previously contributing as a teaching assistant for two years and an adjunct professor in fall 2023. With over 12 years of experience as a credentialed clinical instructor for regional DPT programs, she bridges extensive clinical practice with academic instruction.
Her educational credentials include a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences (2009) and a bachelor's degree in life science from the University of Portland (2005).
Holloran specializes in neurologic rehabilitation, with focused expertise in traumatic brain injury, stroke, and vestibular disorders. She earned her neurologic clinical specialist certification in 2020, demonstrating advanced proficiency in this domain. Beyond academia, she founded the Reclaim Movement—a community dance workshop program for individuals with neurologic conditions (2023-2025)—and served as a heart walk coach for the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association (2024-2025).
