Her research integrates clinical exercise physiology with chronic disease management, particularly addressing the physiological mechanisms of Long COVID, post-exertional malaise, and health inequalities in physical activity. She employs multidisciplinary approaches, including biomarker analysis and cardiorespiratory fitness assessments, to inform clinical interventions.
Recent publications highlight trends in Long COVID pathophysiology, cardiovascular complications post-COVID-19, and the role of exercise testing in clinical populations. Key themes include biomarker interpretation, non-communicable disease prevention, and systemic health impacts of the pandemic.
As an accredited RCCP Clinical Exercise Physiologist, she contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and education. Her work spans collaborations across global institutions and has received grants from The Urology Foundation, BIO REME, and GILEAD Sciences.
