Rutaba Gul

Rutaba Gul is an External Researcher at the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (SUND), working within the Hansen Group led by Professor Torben Hansen. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, she conducts research in medical genetics with a focus on rare genetic disorders such as mucopolysaccharidoses (including Sanfilippo and Morquio syndromes). Her work employs whole genome sequencing to identify genetic variants and understand disease mechanisms, particularly in Pakistani patient populations.
