Russell W. Jessup is a Professor in the Department of Soil and Crop Sciences at Texas A&M University, affiliated with the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Service. Teaching: He teaches SCSC 302 (Recreational Turf) and SCSC 640 (Intellectual Property in the Plant Sciences), with a combined annual teaching load of ~358 students across web-based, blended, and honors formats.
Labs & Teams: Leads the Perennial Grass Lab (BLDG 0956) and collaborates with support staff including Chris Garcia and Ian McGrath. His team focuses on advancing biorefinery platforms and sustainable agricultural practices.
