Russ Adams serves as the Program Director for Northwestern College's Master of Education in Educational Administration and Principal Endorsement programs since 2024. Concurrently, he is the Assistant Director of the Center of Innovation and Leadership at Northwesten College. With over three decades of experience in K-12 education, Adams has held leadership roles including superintendent, high school principal, and middle school principal across Iowa districts, alongside classroom teaching and coaching experience.
- Education: Superintendent Licensure from Iowa State University, M.S.Ed. from Drake University, B.A. from University of Northern Iowa
His research and professional focus centers on educational leadership, school administration, and curriculum development. Adams has been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Milken National Educator Award and multiple state-level principal/superintendent honors, reflecting his impact on educational innovation and leadership.
