Rupeng Yang is a Lecturer in Cyber Security at the University of Wollongong's School of Computing and Information Technology. His research specializes in theoretical and applied cryptography with focus areas including:
- Lattice-based cryptographic constructions
- Watermarking techniques for cryptographic primitives
- Privacy-preserving protocols
- Secure public-key encryption schemes
Before joining UOW, he was a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Hong Kong. He received his PhD from Shandong University in 2019. Current projects include DECRA-funded research on provably secure watermarking techniques.
