Ruozheng Wang is a Professor of Radiation Oncology and Consultant in Radiation Therapy at Xinjiang Medical University, directing the CAMS Key Laboratory of Radiation Cancer Immunology. She has held clinical and academic roles since 1991, with international training at the MRC Human Immunology Unit (Oxford) and Nebraska Medical Center.
- Education: BM (1986), PhD (2011) from Xinjiang Medical University; Postdoc (2015) from Tianjin Medical University.
Her research focuses on T cell mechanisms in cancer progression, particularly cytotoxic T cells in nasopharyngeal and cervical cancers, aiming to identify novel immunotherapy targets for precision medicine. She supervises a large team of 37 postdoctoral researchers, PhD, and master's students.
Her work is funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and collaborations with Professor Tao Dong (University of Oxford). She has received three major awards from the Scientific and Technological Progress Prize in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
