Rukman Niyangoda

Rukman Niyangoda is an Assistant Professor and Art Program Coordinator at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Arts and Humanities. He specializes in graphic design education, teaching courses in typography, digital applications, and portfolio development.

• Education: Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Marywood University; Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art/Graphic Design from UDC.

His research focuses on advertising trends in the South Asian region, combining cultural analysis with design practices. He also serves as a graphic design consultant, emphasizing marketing design for print and web media.
