Rudolph Ulrich is a Professor of Islamic Studies at the University of Zurich since 1999. His academic journey includes a Habilitation in 1993 and a visiting professorship at the University of Aix-en-Provence in 1996. His research focuses on the History of Islam and Islamic philosophy, with particular emphasis on medieval intellectual traditions, cross-cultural philosophical exchanges, and the evolution of theological frameworks in Islamic contexts.
