Rudi Weikard

Rudi Weikard is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He obtained his Dr.rer.nat. (equivalent to a PhD) in 1987 from Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany, and joined UAB in 1990 as an Assistant Professor before being promoted to Associate Professor (1994) and Professor (1999). His research focuses on Mathematical Physics, Spectral Theory, and Inverse Problems, with a secondary interest in differential equations and functional analysis.
