Roy Fenoff

Dr. Roy Fenoff is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at The Citadel (The Military College of South Carolina). He holds a PhD in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University, an M.S. in Medical/Veterinary Entomology from the University of Wyoming, and dual bachelor's degrees in Entomology and Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia.

His expertise includes forensic document examination, forgery detection, food fraud prevention, and transnational crime analysis. Fenoff serves on the Forensic Document Examination Consensus Body of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, the Document Security Alliance, and the South Carolina Food Safety Task Force. He collaborates with the Food Fraud Prevention Academy and provides forensic consulting to law enforcement and legal entities globally.

Research focuses on intersections of technology with crime, document security systems, and food defense strategies. His work has been presented at criminal justice, food safety, and forensic science conferences internationally.
