Roy Bowers is a Senior Teaching Fellow and Researcher in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, with a focus on rehabilitation engineering and gait analysis. He serves as a Member of the Scientific Advisory Committee at the Centre of Excellence in Biomedical Engineering, University of Rwanda, and holds an Honorary Senior Lecturer position at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Rwanda.

- Research Focus: Orthotics, ankle-foot orthosis, apoplexy rehabilitation, and neurodegenerative disease movement analysis.
