Roxann Roberson-Nay

Roxann Roberson-Nay, Ph.D., is an External Affiliate Faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Her research focuses on genetic, biological, and psychosocial mechanisms underlying internalizing disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression), with emphasis on developmental epigenetics, neuroimaging, and advanced statistical modeling. She holds a BS from the College of Charleston, a PhD from the University of Maine, and completed postdoctoral training at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).

Current projects include studying genetic underpinnings of major depression, panic risk, and endophenotypic markers of anxiety/mood conditions.
