Rowena M. Tam

Rowena M. Tam is a Lecturer at the Department of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences, College of Health and Human Services, San Diego State University. She is also a pelvic health and oncology rehab physical therapy clinician, Public Health PhD Candidate (SDSU/UCSD), and certified lymphedema therapist. Her research focuses on cancer rehabilitation, implementation science, and health disparities in urban/rural healthcare services.

Recent Publications demonstrate interdisciplinary focus on oncology rehabilitation, cardiovascular disease risk factors, and implementation challenges in geriatric assessments. Topics include wearable technology applications and cannabis use epidemiology.
