Rossella Arcucci

Dr. Rossella Arcucci is Senior Lecturer in Data Science and Machine Learning at Imperial College London, where she leads the Data Assimilation and Machine Learning (Data Learning) Group. She is elected speaker of Imperial's Artificial Intelligence Network of Excellence and a member of the World Meteorological Organization working group on Data Assimilation and Observing Systems.

Her research develops models integrating data assimilation with machine learning for applications in climate science, wildfire prediction, air pollution monitoring, and healthcare. She has secured over £15M in EU and EPSRC grants and organizes the annual Machine Learning and Data Assimilation for Dynamical Systems workshop. Her work impacts environmental forecasting, energy systems, and medical diagnostics through collaborations with ECMWF, ESA, and industry partners.
