Ross Collin

Ross Collin is a Professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Education. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.A. in English and Education from the University of Iowa.

His research examines how literary study in schools cultivates moral perception and imagination, framing reading education as moral education. Collin's work integrates classroom experiences from his time teaching in West Chicago with contemporary pedagogical approaches to ethics and literature.
