Ross Chandler

Ross Chandler is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Research School of Earth Sciences, Australian National University. He holds a Bachelor of Geology (Honours) and specializes in Rare Earth Element (REE) and critical metal mineralisation, alkaline magmatic processes, and experimental petrology. His research focuses on understanding the formation and exploration of deposits such as peralkaline volcanic, IOCG, and carbonatite-hosted systems.

He has contributed to studies on the Mt Weld Carbonatite Complex, Mount Isa Inlier, and Peak Range Volcanics in Queensland, applying experimental techniques to address resource exploration challenges and sustainable metal extraction.
