Dr. Roslyn Aclan is an Associate Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at the University of Adelaide, affiliated with the School of Allied Health Science and Practice within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) completed in 2024, focusing on the application of digital health tools to enhance housing accessibility and safety for older adults. Her clinical background spans 10 years in subacute inpatient rehabilitation, aged care, disability, and restorative care, with expertise in geriatric, orthopaedic, palliative care, and amputee care within SA Health. Roslyn has also contributed as a casual tutor and research assistant at Flinders University in Health Science and Occupational Therapy programs.
Her research emphasizes enabling older individuals to live independently at home through innovative solutions. She has supervised students during clinical placements and mentored graduate staff. Affiliated with the Engineering and Maths. Sciences building (Room 418, North Terrace campus), she combines academic teaching with clinical experience to advance occupational therapy practices.
