Dr. Rosie Cooney is an Associate Professor at The Australian National University's Fenner School of Environment and Society and leads the ACT Office of Nature Conservation. Her work focuses on biodiversity conservation, climate adaptation, and Indigenous-led approaches to land management. She holds a PhD in Ecology from the University of Cambridge and has extensive experience in international conservation organizations like IUCN and roles in academia and government.

Research Interests: Climate resilience, sustainable use of natural resources, community-based wildlife management, wildlife trade policy, and Indigenous rights in conservation.
