Roser Girós-Calpe

Roser Girós-Calpe is a Lecturer and doctoral candidate at the Institute of Government and Public Policies (IGOP) within the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She holds a degree in Pedagogy (2003), a Social and Cultural Anthropology degree (2012), and a Research Master in Education (2016). Her research focuses on educational equity, particularly analyzing participation in afternoon educational activities in vulnerable urban neighborhoods and the interplay between Extended School Education policies and cultural leisure models. She teaches Anthropology of Education at the UAB’s Department of Educational Theories and Social Pedagogy.
