Rosemary Sullivan is a Professor in the Social Work Department at Westfield State University, where she has taught since 2005 (initially as an Adjunct Professor and full-time since 2007). Her work focuses on family violence, trauma theory, and clinical social work practices.
- Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Guilford College and University of North Carolina at Greensboro, respectively

Her current research explores transgender identity development compared to LGB psychosocial processes, and she is completing articles on mandated treatment for family violence offenders.
