Rosemary Rahill

Rosemary Rahill is a Senior Lecturer of French at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), where she teaches all levels of French language courses, including Advanced Grammar, Pronunciation and Phonetics, Culture and Society, and Commercial French. She earned her BA (2010) and MAT (2012) in French from FAU, following studies at New York University and a transformative nine-year stay in France.

Her research focuses on enhancing language learning through speech recognition technology and integrating cultural competence into curriculum. She has published on pronunciation assessment tools and translated French literary works into English. Rahill also teaches Commercial French courses certified by the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris.

Rahill’s publications span academic work on language technology and literary translation (2015) to travel journalism in Porthole Cruise Magazine (2006–2009). Her presentations address cultural defense in language programs, diversity in education, and leadership narratives.
