Professor Rosemary Cairns Way is a faculty member at the Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa. She teaches criminal law, constitutional law, and legal theory, while integrating equality values into judicial education and law school pedagogy.

Her research focuses on the infusion of equality principles into substantive criminal law, judicial education, and legal professionalism. She previously served as Vice-Dean of the English Program (1999-2007) and coordinated the National Judicial Institute's Social Context Education Program (1996-1999).
As an opera singer, she performs regularly with Opera Lyra Ottawa at the National Arts Centre, envisioning a law school classroom enriched by classical music.
