Rosemarie Ziedonis is a Visiting Professor of Strategy and Innovation at Imperial College London’s Department of Management and Entrepreneurship (Business School). She is on leave from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business for the 2022-2023 academic year. Her research focuses on intellectual property valuation, innovation policy, and management. She has held faculty positions at the Wharton School, University of Oregon, and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where she co-directed the Program for Law, Economics, and Technology.
Education: Ph.D. in Business and Public Policy from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business; B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina.
Research Interests: Strategic use of intellectual property, innovation policy, and interdisciplinary approaches combining legal, economic, and technological perspectives. Her work appears in top journals like Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, and the Strategic Management Journal.
Awards: Multiple teaching awards at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Professional roles include Associate Editor at Management Science and Research Associate in the Productivity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
