Rosemarie Schade is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at Concordia University and currently serves as Principal of Loyola College of Diversity and Sustainability. Her academic work focuses on German bourgeois feminist movements, women in pre-Nazi right-wing groups, and social history.

Schade co-edited the eight-volume bibliography Gender Balancing History: Towards an Inclusive Curriculum and authored the book Ein weibliches Utopia: Organisationen und Ideologien der Mädchen und Frauen in der bürgerlichen Jugendbewegung, 1905–1933. Her current research explores the social history of a factory in Hessen, sustainable enterprises, and the ideological connections between the Weimar-era German Youth Movement and modern reform movements.
