Roseann E. Peterson

Dr. Roseann E. Peterson is an External Affiliate Faculty member at the Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics, Virginia Commonwealth University. She holds a PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University (2012) and a BA from the University of Minnesota (2005). Her research program focuses on genetic and environmental determinants of mood disorders and comorbid traits like substance use and physical health, emphasizing cross-population studies.

Research Focus: Genetic epidemiology, behavior genetics, and methodological development in psychiatric research.
